I am the owner of an 18,000 gallon inground white plaster pool and am wondering how much chlorine to add daily. I'm not sure what my chlorine levels should be. I am amassing quite an extensive collection of chlorinating agents as my learning curve has had me out at various points buying something else. I have learned my CYA lesson.
On-hand I have:
Tri-chlor (but dont use it much as my CYA level is at about 60)
Di-chlor I use sparingly in the chlorinator
I have Cal hypo on order as my Calcium hardness is low and I need a chlorinating agent that does not add CYA
I am about to make a trip to Sams to get unscented Clorox to shock the pool for the beginning of pool season at my house.
Is there a chlorine calculator online I could use?
Thanks in advance for any help.
