Green (cloudy) water or slimy pool walls.

Hi-I can finally run my pump and I have it on recirculate so no algae goes thru the filter.Is this correct please? Also,I added 10 pounds of shock (Bags) and still on recirculating. Here are my scores:
Inground and Vinyl liner
Sand filter
Chlorine
We opened this weekend and here are the pool store levels.

Hardness:286 and also Extensive Green Algae
