Inground liner measurements

I have a liner that was ordered for my in-ground pool. the pool is 8 ft deep in the deep end with a straight drop of 2' 8" before a slop starts. the liner was done incorrectly and it was entered as a 3' 6" straight drop before the slop. that is a 10 inch difference. can anyone advise me on if this is going to cause a huge problem with putting the liner in. I hope i can make it work. please let me know any advise is great.
