Can some one help me configure the valves so that the system is running properly

Basicly i dont know the direction of the water flows.

I can't see much in your picture but in general, you point the blunt end of the valve (opposite of handle) toward the pipe you want to block flow. Water will then flow through the pipe that the handle is sitting over and the pipe 90 degrees from the handle. This site has a good example:
