Considering a change

Postby okipaul » Sat 27 Oct, 2012 18:38

Looking at possibly changing from a sodium hypochlorite 12% feed system to the Accu-tab system. Does anyone here use the Accu-tab? How do you like it?

Has anyone else made a switch similar to this? I've done a little research, but not sure if my deductions are correct and would appreciate feedback. It would seem that Calcium Hypochlorite will add calcium to my water. If I am already working with extremely hard water (upwards of 600-800 ppm), wouldn't this cause more problems for me? It looks like the Accu-tab is pretty easy to operate, but will I still need a separate acid feed system to make necessary pH changes?
