DE filter pressure high after service (2 hours)

DE filter pressure high after service (2 hours)

Help! My DE filter's pressure is already high after 2-3 hours of service cleaning. Its at 25 psi already. I already used a degreaser to take out oils, dirt, etc. I used Leslie's pool spray & rinse filter cleaner. Already put 6 lbs of DE. Water chemistry is all balanced. Water is a bit cloudy. Please help!

You probably have an algae bloom and need to kill that first. Here is a good site for instructions on what to do:
