calcium at 450 ppm

Postby Rob W. » Mon 03 Jul, 2006 14:04

Hello,

My pool is about 25,000 gallons. It is a gunite surface. The calcium levels were measured at 450 ppm. Two pool people said it was a little high but not too bad, however I'd like it to be in the right range. I've stopped using chlorine shock that has calcium in it and started using liquid chlorine. I'm thinking that draining a little at a time and refilling it won't matter since the house water is already hard in my area. Is this level a level to be concerned with?
