Algae removal from cover

Postby Birchy » Mon 03 Jul, 2006 15:25

I'm shocking my pool but what about the solar blanket, how do I clean that?
I don't want to put it on a superchlorinated pool because it'll decrease it's life too much.
Thanks.

I take my pole and go around the pool every time I take it off and sink the edges of the cover so it is wet, that way when you roll it off all the stuff comes off with the water, a nylon brush and a little household bleach will clean it up good, then sink edges and roll up.
