sand in pool

This year opening my pool , I find that i have sand blowing into my pool and when I waste and rinse there is also sand coming out. The glass is filled with sand.. I have no idea what is going on this has never happened before... Help.. This is a fairly new Hayward pump for above ground pool.. Thanks

first of all sand comes from filter not pump .,second sounds like you have a cracked lateral in filter or someone did not istall sand properly
