What is floc, clarifier, stabilizer, cyanuric acid,
algaecide, brightener, dichlor, sodium hypo,
sodium bisulfate, ....??

WE NEED HELP ! HOW DO YOU DISSOLVE THE STABALIZER THE BOTTLE SAYS DISSOVLE WITH WATER THEN ADD TO POOL OR IT WILL RUIN THE LINER ! WELL IT NEVER DISSOLVES I HAVE TRIED ONLY LITTLE AMOUNTS WITH WATER AND NOTHING OUR POOL NEVER HOLDS THE CLORINE CUZ IT ALWAYS SITS IN THE SUN AND IM AT MY WITTS END ANY ONE HAVE ANY IDEAS DO THEY MAKE IT IN A LIQUID ?

does anyone have any ideas on how to dissolve the stabiler . Iam afraid to ruin my liner and the stuff doesnt disolve in hot water .. can you add it thru the skimmer with no worries !!! just wondering how everyone else deals with this we just got our pool last yr and have never used stabilzer and its getting $$ buying clorine that never stayes in the pool any help will be wonderfull

Just use tri-clor tabs or most granular has conditioner in those too. That power stuff is hard to disolve

Stabilizer, or cyanuric acid, is a _very_ weak acid, it can takes a few days to completely dissolve in pool water, it will not however ruin or damage your liner. Sprinkle the stuff on the water surface, let it drop to the floor and in a few days it'll be all gone. Of course don't vacuum the pool during that period.

And don't use too much stabilizer. A level of 20-40 ppm is usually enough.
