Pump heat
Pump heat
Just installed pump for aboveground pool brand new out of box,How hot is the pump supposed to get,Not noisy but hot to touch,any help would be appreciated.

Are you talking about the motor? Some do get hot but it shouldn't get so hot you can't touch it, I would keep an eye on it and notify the place you got it from so they can suggest what to do, if they are fine with it and it burns up, you are covered because you aksed them what you should do becuase you noticed it was hot. I would make documentation with who and when you called so you are covered.
