Jandy Lite 2 Overheating

My Pool: 16X32 - hayward pump, jandy lite 2 heater

Jandy Lite 2 Overheating

I have a Jandy Lite 2 heater. It ignites and runs but after approix 15 minutes the digital display starts to darken - then blacks out and the heater shuts down. Once it cools I can restarts but I am afraid of permanent damage - any ideas? Thanks
