Dedicated Vac Line

Postby bottlecap » Sun 27 Mar, 2016 17:06

New to board so don't ding me to bad. I suspect I have a clog in my line but I've had a water hose filling the line for the last hour and not getting any return. Could this be a sign that the pipe is busted some where? When I put air to the line it does blow out water. Thanks for the help.

Ok so to update I had an idiot moment. Got hose in the right pipe now on the pump side. Plenty of water coming out and when blown with air lots of coming out aswell. So I rule out clog. What else could it be. My Zodiak was not operating
Like it did the year before. I couldn't even get it to suck from the dedicated line last year

Hi
I assume you are trying to vacuum
Does the filter work normally when you aren't vacuuming?
If it does you may be pulling air in from somewhere.
Is the pump strainer full of water when filtering and not when vacuuming
Check the pump strainer "O" ring and coat it with silicon grease or vaseline
Check your vacuum hose isn't split and sucking in air
