Cloudy Water Once and awhile via pool return

Postby Goblue13 » Tue 24 May, 2016 08:55

I am noticing cloudy water entering my pool via the returns on the stairs, but sporadically. When all of the returns are on it only happens via these jets. I isolated the other returns (turned stair returns off) to see if cloudy water came out, but did not notice any haze (maybe didn’t go long enough). The returns to stairs is shortest run. I spoke to a pool company and they didn’t think it was water chemistry. Any ideas what might be causing issue greatly appreciated. The pool is salt.

If it's coming out sporadically from the short run it could be air
Is the water cloudy or does it dissapate soon after it comes out cloudy

The cloudiness collects in the stair and moves outward to pool area where it starts to dissipates. It takes time to dissapate.

It still seems like air if the pool water isn't getting cloudy and there is no sediment forming on the bottom for you to vacuum to waste
