First time opening...

Postby strollerfreak » Wed 25 May, 2016 11:28

This is my first time opening up our pool. I am looking for input on whether I should work with what we have, or start from scratch.
First, we live on a dirt road, so no matter what we do, we will wind up with dirt at the bottom. Since we didn't know what we were doing last year, and I couldn't get this dirt/sediment out, I closed it as-is.
The water is crystal clear and the quality is fine. But the bottom of the pool is gross. Our filter doesn't pick it up, and neither does the Mamba pool vacuum that I bought & tried.
Should I drain it, scrub & sweep it, and start fresh ($300 for water ), or try and work with what I have (??? Time & effort)
(Trying to attach a picture...working on it.)

I suggest that you brush or scrub the bottom of the pool first to loosen up the sediment before using the Mamba. You will probably need to vacuum separately some areas where the Mamba doesn't pick up
Is the Mamba working correctly (moving around the pool)
