We are going to replace the Hayward Superflo 1.5HP pump that is on the pool. We just bought the house and opened the pool for the first time in over 10 years. Previous owner did not use it. All is well except the pump is going to kill us on electrical usage. I am looking at the Pentair Superflow VS and the Hayward SP2303VSP MaxFlo VS. Both are energy star rated and seem to be very close is specs. I am curious if the member of this forum have a preference and why.
