new pool owner in new orleans where very hot; is about 1/2 to 3/4 inch loss per day ok in periods of no or light rain? thanks

pool leaking

i have a 16 x 36 gunite pool around 30 years old It started to leak last year around 2 to 3 inchs a day. this was at the tof the seasonof the season its now stop but its below the light and all of the skimers and out light it stop at about 8 ft which i think is about our water table here in Savannah Ga think it mybe the hydo static please help me out on this one[/i][/b]
