I need to know if it is common to get some cracks in gunite? Were I live it has been getting into the 108 heat and I was on vacation at the time they put in the gunite. I had a friend come over to water it down two times a day till I got home two days later. Also I have been watering it everytime it looks dry so does it hurt to over water it?
Thanks JB

What do you mean water it? We put in Gunite pools but all our plaster is below the tile line, you shouldn't have any exposed or above at all. Your not suppose to have crack so that will answer that question my concern is you having exposed gunite.

oh no if it is concrete then you can water it as much as you want, it will cure even if concrete is under water. I thought you meant you had plaster already, i was worried. But it is shotcrete then do what the pool builder suggests but over watering can't happen.
