We are seeing collections of sand in our pool around all the jets and the bottom. Is it possible that we have too much sand in the filter?? My husband just put more sand in the filter, and a ton of sand came out the jets.S. Clark

too much sand or broken laterals in the bottom of the sand filter. When ever you do a sand change you should also fill the empty filter half way with water before putting new sand in to prevent the breaking of the laterals.
