Pool Drains. Do we need them or not???

Postby Buggy » Thu 20 Jul, 2006 20:12

Hello

I live in Ontario Canada, I'm wanting to install an inground pool. I have had several companies out to quote, half of them say no drain and the other half say drain. One guy says you need two drains. I am on top of most othe aspects but, I can see haviung a bottom drain for crculation reasons and for draining. But the other guys say that the circulation should be no problem with enough jets. Please give your feed back.

Thanks Buggy

I suggest a drain, I have not yet seen an inground concrete pool without one, I have seen fiberglass and vinyl but not shotcrete.
