Pumping?

Postby vaughanwilliams » Wed 15 Jun, 2005 07:07

Check your multi-port valve is in the corect position. Try a few options like backwashing, rinsing, circulating as well as filtering. If you can't get any water to flow in any position, either you have a suction valve(s) closed or your impeller has come off your pump.

is this after opening the pool??? Did you prime the pump? I find that the pump tends to suck a lot of air when not primed properly. I also have the drain plugs removed on both the filter and pump when I close the pool, so I have to make sure they are put back before starting the pump.
