black grease

I have a black grease substance that keeps occuring in my filter & around the pool at the water level. What is it & how can I get rid of it?

2 potetial issues.

1. is it sticky?
2. Can it be removed by scrubbung

It could simply be oils and greases form suntan lotions and body greases. Get a "pool Grade" vinyl cleaner to removes these oils.
