Pebble tech surface & clear coating

Postby Guest » Sun 30 Jul, 2006 09:18

I have a 30 foot concrete slide into my pool. Just had a pebble tech surface put on top of the existing concrete to match the pool. I'm guessing the pebble tech surface they added is about 1 inch thick. I noticed several cracks a few days later. Any process to prevent cracks?

A polyester resin was applied over the pebble tech for a smooth surface. Didn't turn out very well. Not real smooth, because of thin coating applied There's dark and light spots and not happy with the final appearance.

Any other clear coatings available? Not sure what to do with the cracks. Job was just completed two days ago.
