We have a bad case of algea that is eating up all our chlorine. It makes the bottom of the pool a bit slippery.The chem company does not believe in algecide so uses extra chlorine but when they come back the chlorine is all gone. It has been like this for 4 weks now. We are brushing it and running the filter 24/7
We have a painted pool and I am afraid all the chlorine is harming the surface.
