Worm(?) in pool

Postby serpentyna » Sat 08 Sep, 2018 12:51

Hello!
I have noticed today something weird in the pool - a worm-shaped thingies attached to objects submerged in the water (thermometer, railing). I tried taking it out and it has a slime-like substance with many little dots within it. Are those some kind of larvae? I will be very thankful for any kind of help indentifying those and getting rid of them. I tried searching on the internet but the only thing I found is the photo of the exact same thing as in my pool, but without an answer what it might be. Here's the photo: https://m.ocdn.eu/_m/f624ce9f0d7fd117b2867c55670ca7c4,62,37.jpg
