Installing foam pad under liner

Postby Rgross » Sat 05 Aug, 2006 10:42

Has anyone ever used the foam pads they have for under liners of AG pools. I have a real problem with moles and crawdads. Would this help with the problem?

I bought one when I replaced the liner in my first in-ground pool years ago. The problem is that when full of water, your pool weighs many TONS. It flattens just about anything you put under your liner. It was better bare earth I suppose.

I wouldn't pay extra to buy a special pool foam pad...any closed cell foam will work. Check with fabric/upholstery shops.
