I have an above ground pool that seems to attract scale. Im able to controll the chemicals and keep them balanced. The problem im having is the bottom of the pool is lined with scale. Ive used scale inhibitor and still no luck. The summer is fading and I would like to eliminate the scale before winterizing. Ive scrubed the liner with little luck. :D

Pool scale problem

Make sure your pH is in the 7.0 - 7.4 range. Keep total alkalinity between 80 and 120 ppm. Check that calcium hardness is below 400ppm.

If these levels are OK, you should never have a scale problem. Get your water tested and post the results here for further help.
