I've just had my pool resurfaced. The company chipped out some areas and put a very thin coat of the plaster on the old surface. The new surface has rough spots. Some of the chiped out spots are rough. Others were not filled in so that they would be flush with the rest of the surface, but just skimmed over. The side of the wall is wavy.
Did I get a shoddy job? I expected a new looking smooth surface.
