Meyco Pool Cover

I'm in desperate need of replacing a 15 yr old Meyco Mesh Pool Cover. Now I'm confused as to what Meyco Cover to purchase. My pool is a 18x36 in-ground. I was leaning towards their Perma-Guard Solid cover, but I've been hearing stories that is is heavy and hard to handle during pool opening and closings.

My main reason for wanting a Solid Cover was to eliminate the alge growth in my pool during the winter months.

Does anyone have a Meyco Pool Cover that they can recommend.
