LOW alkalinity and HIGH Ph Which to treat first?

Hi,

I am on a bouncing rollercoaster with water balancing. My TA is at 70 and my PH is at 8.0. Calcium is at 160 or thereabouts.
I just brought my ALK up to 80 from 50 (keep having a problem with this), but each time I use the baking soda to raise this, my PH goes up!
Which number do I treat first? Should I be treating one at a time?
