No pressure from skimmers

Water bugs, swimming insects and sweat bees.
Foaming bubbly water. Frogs in the pool.
Dead animals in the swimming pool.

No pressure from skimmers

I have a inground pool with a main drain and skimmers. The pressfrom the main drain is good, but when I switch over to skimmers I lose the pressure. I could not find anythings blocking the skimmers. What could be the problem?
