Hello, I am taking care of a friends salt water pool and the water has turned a lovely green color, well, she isn't very happy with that so what do I need to do? She ended up putting in another gallon of muratic acid after I had already done so, so now the level is really high. The salt level was low throughout winter but we have now put in 4 bags of Solar Salt. Any suggestions on getting it back to normal?

Thanks.

I think you should shock the pool to about 10 ppm using chlorine and run the filter system non - stop. Then take a sample to a pool shop where they can test the salt level in the pool and tell you what it is and how many bags of salt are required.
