Water bugs, swimming insects and sweat bees.
Foaming bubbly water. Frogs in the pool.
Dead animals in the swimming pool.

mustard algae

We recently had built a dark plaster gunite 30,000 gal pool. Now quickly have dark green water when brushed powders up. We have been told probably have "mustard algae". What can you tell me about this? cause, prevention and what to do to clear this up.

Shock with chlorine, add algicide, brush, vacuum.

Then get a Pool Wizard, you will never see the algea again.

What is a pool wizard and is it for above and inground pools?
