green water

I had my pool water checked and had chlorine reading of 1 and ph level of 7.2, after it rained yesterday I put in the shock (3lbs) and soda ash 2lbs and got up this am and my pool water is GREEN. took it to be tested again and chlorine level 5 plus and ph is 7.2 still and acid level is very high. need help

Acid level is cyanuric acid I assume. Unfortunately only way through this is dilution or huge amounts of chlorine your choice.

Dilution is usually easier.
