Pool Pressure too high

Postby bogart » Sun 22 Apr, 2007 17:02

Hello, I am a new pool owner. Just installed an Zodiac pool cleaner. I have one skimmer and a dedicated vacuum port. The Zodiac was working fine, but the skimmer was not sucking, so there were bugs on the top of the pool.

In trying to get them both to work, I turned a couple knobs and now the guage rates about 55psi or so and will not go down. Nothing is running, and I am unsure as to how I can reduce the pressure. It is scary.

Try backwashing, if you know what it means
