Salt generator

Postby all4him » Tue 01 May, 2007 07:32

I have a salt generator on my ingound pool. It has been in for a year and based on what I have read and been told I need to clean it and my DE filter annually.

1. What is the best way to clean a salt generator?
2. What is the best way to clean the DE filters thoroughly?

salt--- place the cell in a 50/50 of water and acid. let it set for only 1 min and check to see if the deposits are gone. If not, redo and until the deposits are gone.

de--- unless you've done this before, getting the filter back together is tricky, so you might hire a pro.
