need to buy new pump

i have a 15' round above ground pool. it has a jacuzzi pump and filter. checking the pump before getting pool ready for summer i noticed that there is a large crack in the pump housing under the filter basket. do i have to purchase a jacuzzi pump to match the filter, or is there any other brand i can use? both of the hose on the pump will not budge, so can i cut them off and replace them? or does anyone have a better idea to remove hose? thank.
