Can I use copper tubing for a pool heater

Only problem I see is copper possibly leaching into water. Limited use probably would be fine (around heater element and other hotter unions).

In practice some cheap gas boilers use copper for heat exchangers. However this often is a compromise between what is cost effective and an ideal.

Other than a heater copper does not usually have a place in a pool reticulation system.
