We have anew pool, and live in the country

We are having problems with rodents in the pool...I'm so grossed out! Anyone else have this issue? I'm hoping it will be better in summer...right now it is raining and they are all getting flushed out of their hiding spots.

It sounds like the rats are trying to get away from the wet conditions and are inadvertently falling into the swimming pool. Perhaps some rodent traps would help.

You might also consider a perimeter fence of some sort or ideally a pool cover. Having a cover would not only keep the rats out, but will also keep leaves, dust and other debris out of the pool, making spring opening so much cleaner and easier.
