We moved into a house with an indoor pool late in the summer.
Our intent is to maintain a water temp of 29C throughout the winter, but as the UK ambients have dropped, the heater does not seem to be able to cope. Maybe I am missing something?
I understand that the Calorex TEC50 works on a heat pump principle, and so requires a warm air intake to transfer heat to the pool water. We have set the pool room air temp up at 34C, and the sytem runs overnight all night. However the water temp has stubbornly remained at around 24C for a few weeks now. The pump and filter run 24/7. Water flow through the system is good.
Any ideas or advice would be very appreciated,
Thanks.
