Same problem here. CY A is double what it should be and my pool place told me that I may have to drain half of my pool and add fresh water. I don't really want to do that, but I'm now considering it. Yesterday, my water became a little cloudy. I shocked it and then took a water sample to my pool place and that's when they told me. I'm new to the pool thing, and I've had my pool open for over a month (and it's really been crystal clear). Anyway, this is frustrating...I would definitely love to find a way to lower CY A so that I don't have to drain my pool...

I've never heard of a CYA remover. What is the brand, name and the ingredients?

What are your CYA levels?
What is the volume of your pools?
