BROWN SLIMEY FOAM!!

Water bugs, swimming insects and sweat bees.
Foaming bubbly water. Frogs in the pool.
Dead animals in the swimming pool.

BROWN SLIMEY FOAM!!

I have a huge problem, that started when i accidently dropped a bottle of bacqucil algecide in~the bubbles started and now 2+weeks later they are still there and they are a foam wtih brown slime attatched! i have backwashed, vaccumed and put fluccant in. rised the alkaninity and everything i can think of. I have even bucketed the foam out and it RETURNS slimmiery!!! I am at the edge of my sanity with this ~~ we have not swam once and really the pool doesn't even look clear under the foam!! HELP HELP HELP!! my pool in 21 round 12,000 gallons treated with bacqucil! :twisted:

I don't know anything about Baquacil, but were it me...I would dump Baquacil and go chlorine.

I have heard nothing but problems from Baquacil users.

Sorry, I don't know a thing about Baquacil pools. Seems many end up with situations like this and affectionately call it Baquagoo. Most have converted to chlorine.
