How much sand goes in the filter

Adding chemicals, vacuuming, backwashing,
brushing, filter care, filter cleaning, replacing
worn or broken pool parts

How much sand goes in the filter

I opened my filter today and noticed the sand is about 3/4 from the top of the tank. Is that enough? Or should the sand come to the very top? Thanks

You filters capacity is measured in pounds of sand. There is always headspace....sand never goes to the top.
