high chlorine levels

Chlorinating, maintaining the right chlorine levels,
chlorine problems. Dichlor, trichlor, cal hypo, bleach,
granules, chlorine pucks and chlorine sticks.

If your chlorine levels are high. Over 5. Is it of ay benefit to check any of the other tests or should your wait until the chlorine is down?

I always check my pH and Alk no matter what level the chlorine is.
