Best option for brightening/cleaning walls of my pool

Hi, please see attached photos of my pool walls.
This is after the pool has been drained and a pressure washer used to spray down the walls.

The pool is a natural cement pool , and I have 3 questions.

Is there a better way to clean off these stains??
What does resurfacing the walls entail??
If I decide to paint the walls (as a temporary measure) can this have any long term negative consequences??

I would be inclined to try an acid wash in a small area first of all and see how it comes up. Be careful as acid will burn and also pit your plaster. You could try vitamin C (ascorbic acid) which is very mild
Painting is only a stopgap and will not last

I would be inclined, ( I would actually do it) to was down the walls with chlorine bleach. That will burn out organics clinging in the rough surface crevices etc and the green algae will be gone. Then show us fresh photos of the surface.

Acid washing softens the surface and then you'll need to re harden the surface by using a high concentration of bicarbonate of soda for a week and then begin to dilute the level down

Thank you both very much. I will try the chlorine bleach first and see how that works first - then consider acid-washing after that depending on results.

In some places, I would still use hot water pressure washer, to clean them up. When I've been looking for a good and reliable hot water pressure washer, a good friend of mine has been recommended me this awesome article ( weblink: https://mygardenzone.com/best-hot-water ... re-washer/ ), where I could find NorthStar 4,000 PSI, and I'm pretty satisfied by that.

Chlorine bleach works best on such walls. Painting will peel off sooner than later because of presence of elements of hard water.
