Just sharing what I found to those electronic hobbyists. I take no credit!

Thanks for that katuga
It means absolutly nothing to me but there could be others who will find it useful

Interesting thank you, actually some infor I was looking for dc voltage to salt cell.

Very interesting, even if there are a few errors in it and a lot is missing

There are varistors on the primary side of the transformer that protect from overvoltage above 150v

24v on secondary side go into two bridge rectifiers in parallel (connection missing) gives about 33v, unloaded

Then a 25A current protector and caps to smooth and stabilize DC current.

Then a relay to change Polarity

The .015 ohm resistor is for current sensing

:eh: No pun intended but I beg to disagree! First off, the Electronic schematic diagram is for Electronic Techs or Engr's who have the ability to interpret and visualize the role and function of each component.

MartinBZ wrote:There are varistors on the primary side of the transformer that protect from overvoltage above 150v

In the above electronic circuit, what is "RZ1 & RZ2" stands for and what are they for?

MartinBZ wrote:24v on secondary side go into two bridge rectifiers in parallel (connection missing) gives about 33v, unloaded

Wrong! How many wires are connected to one bridge rect? Only half of each bridge rect is used to prevent overheating, two halves make one full-wave bridge (24v - 1.4v=22.6Vdc) unloaded.

MartinBZ wrote:Then a 25A current protector and caps to smooth and stabilize DC current.

Again, what is "TH1 or RZ3" and "C1 & C2" and what do you think they are for?

MartinBZ wrote:Then a relay to change Polarity

That is what the "K1 and K2" are for.

MartinBZ wrote:The .015 ohm resistor is for current sensing

WRONG! Current sensing is handled by the 8 bits micro-controller via R7 as shown in the dwrg.

Please review your electronic course if any before posting wrong and misleading information. cheers mate

thanks for the schematic. does anybody know how the salt level is measured? And if it's possible to bypass this since this is the second time that my T-9 cell needs to be replaced because it can't read the salt level
