buying a used one

[Fiberglass - Should I???]

A homeowner about 250 miles away has a 16 x 38' Viking fiberglass pool that they have never installed and are selling for $8500. The pool is 3 years old and has a minor crack in the deepend from being placed on a tire.... It will cost between $2000 and $3500 to transport the pool to my house. Can any one comment on if this is a good deal or not?
