I have a little above ground pool, 16 X 24. It is green, I have shocked it 4 times over the last 6 days and have been using the little tablets to stabilize (two per day) it BUT it stays green. Looking for some advice. I do not have a test kit.

Order a test kit FROM HERE.

Without test numbers we would just be guessing in the dark.

ok i bought a test kit, now i have had the PH at 7.6 and the CL at 3.0 for two days and the green is gone but my Alkilinity is above 200ppm, and the water is cloudy. Will it clear up with the alky that high or should i try to lower it?
