too much chlorine

hello
im a new pool owner all my levels are fine except it has too much chlorine what do i do? should i put something in it or will the sun uv lower it ? also i live in nm and i have to add water to the pool weekly is that normal i know in my area the Humidity is like 14%
any help would be great!!!

Welcome.

Why do you think you have too much chlorine? If your test kit says you overdosed, just wait...it will go down on it's own.

Now, if you are smelling chlorine or have red eyes after swimming, you actually don't have enough.
