easyset vacuum

I have a metal framed easy set pool 15x48 deep. This pool came with a cheap vacuum that attaches to the hose and it blows into a bag. I am fighting a algae problem and this vacuum does not help b/c it just blows the small particals back into the water. My question is can any vacuum hook up to this kind of pool? I was hoping I could get another one that might just hook onto the connection that sucks water into the filter?

Try cotton balls in your bag. I don't think you'll find a better sweeper than what you've got.
